Why Is Pet Urine Carpet Cleaning So Urgent?
The urine will penetrate the carpet fibres, carpet backing, the underlay (padding) and the floor underneath. As the urine dries it will form urine crystals.
The crystals underneath the carpet will come into contact with humidity from time to time causing quite unpleasant off gassing.

Our technicians will extract and rinse the carpet and carpet fibres as much as possible. This is followed by the application of an antibacterial to sanitise the carpets. We may lift carpets, remove underlay and replace in severe cases. In addition, Chem-Dry applies our patented PURT enzyme solution to the area to interact and neutralise the urine odour. The same process can also be applied to urine affected rugs, lounges and mattresses.
